Project Overview

IHG Brands delivered end-to-end FF&E procurement for a fine dining restaurant in Dubai, created to meet the expectations of a high-spend, design-conscious clientele. The project scope covered front-of-house dining areas, a private dining room, lounge seating, hostess and waiting zones, bar accessories, decorative lighting, art and styling elements, and selected back-of-house loose equipment. Working from approved interior design packages, our team managed specification reviews, vendor coordination, shop drawing alignment, sourcing, budgeting, logistics, and installation oversight. The primary challenge was preserving the designer’s material palette and bespoke detailing while meeting an accelerated opening programme and strict operator standards for durability, maintenance, and guest comfort. Several imported items also required close tracking due to lead times and regional compliance requirements. To keep the programme on track, we applied value engineering where appropriate, identifying equivalent finishes and manufacturing options without compromising the visual intent. Our procurement team consolidated suppliers across the UAE, Europe, and Asia, controlled submittals and approvals through structured documentation, and sequenced deliveries around site readiness to avoid storage risk and installation delays. The result was a polished, operationally efficient restaurant environment delivered with clear accountability, commercial control, and a seamless bridge between design specification and final handover.
